Regular Office Hours:

Scheduled Appointments:
Regular health supervision examination (check-up) appointments are:
Monday through Friday:                        9:30 a.m. to  4:30 p.m.
Closed 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Illness related appointments are:        9:00 a.m. to  5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; and
Closed 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.              9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

If a child needs to be seen after hours or on a Sunday or Holiday, it is best to call to arrange an appointment before the office closes. The fee for visits after hours or in the emergency department is greater than the fees for visits in our office during regular hours.

Return calls:
Patients or parents may request a return call anytime during the day from a doctor or a nurse. We return calls within a reasonable period of time. In the evening, after office hours, the doctor on-call will return calls from parents of ill children to offer advice or to see the child if necessary.

Our on-call doctors have designed a system to answer after-bedtime calls themselves so that parents of acutely ill children overnight may deal directly with the doctor rather than through an intermediary. The one exception, of course, occurs when the on-call doctor is already out responding to another emergency. In this instance, the answering service will page the doctor to obtain as rapid a return call as possible.

Early Sick Child Visits:
Both for the convenience of the parents and to assure timely examination of ill children, illness related visits are available at 9:00 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (these times may vary according to the circumstances at the time). We do our best to accommodate families and children with special needs and circumstances. Requests for special service should be directed to one of the physicians in the office or the physician on-call, if outside of regular hours.

After Hour or Sunday/Holiday Visits: When the office is closed, one of the doctors will be available and on-call for emergencies. If a child needs to be seen on a after hours or on Sunday/Holiday Visits, it is best to call on telephone hour that day to arrange an appointment before the office closes. The office charge at these times is greater than the charge for visits during regular office hours.

After Hours Visits:
A doctor is always on-call for after-hours emergencies on weeknights, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
It is always best to telephone first before transporting a child to an emergency facility. Many visits can be avoided with appropriate advice. Direct registration in an emergency facility generally entails a longer wait for service and higher costs than a visit pre-arranged with us. The charge for visits at these times is greater than the charge for visits during regular office hours.

IN ANY INSTANCE OF A LIFE-THREATENING PROBLEM,
YOUR FIRST CALL SHOULD BE TO YOUR

LOCAL AMBULANCE OR RESCUE SQUAD NO: 911.

Should a child experience an urgent problem and need to be seen, the parent should telephone our office and inform the answering service or doctor of the nature of the problem. The doctor can then arrange an appropriate time and place for an examination.

New Patient Consultations
New patient consultations are welcome! Some issues require more time for discussion than is available during regular hours. Many topics require the participation of both parents or other parties. Our office are often available for after hours consultations, either in person or by telephone, regarding special concerns. These consultations can be scheduled by calling the office during regular hours. you will soon be able to easily add, manage and reserve shared time by using an actual Appointment Scheduler implementation that is being configured to allow ease of communication in scheduling.
